Haaland breaks Premier League scoring record as City return to top

Erling Haaland broke the Premier League single-season scoring record as Manchester City moved back to the top of the table with a 3-0 win over West Ham.

The Norwegian striker netted his 27th goal of the campaign in all competitions to surpass Sergio Aguero's previous mark of 26, which he set in 2014/15.

Haaland's goal came in the 37th minute, when he was found by Riyad Mahrez inside the area and fired home from close range.

The win moves City back to the top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal, who have a game in hand.
